Grain not yet fully approved by the European Union (E.U.) must be marketed through specific channels. Grain Stewardship, along with the Grain Marketing Communication Plan (GMCP) provides comprehensive channeling information that allows growers to confidently purchase, grow, and sell harvested crops to appropriate grain handlers.

The Marker Choices designation found on seed bags and tags (shown below) will indicate to growers that the harvested grain must be handled accordingly.  The GMCP must be completed and will verify that proper markets are identified and channeling needs are understood.



Talk to your local grain handlers to verify grain acceptance.  You may also call 1-866-SELL CORN or visit www.866sellcorn.com for help in locating a grain handler near you that will accept your grain.  The American Seed Trade Association website, www.amseed.org is another good resource for you.

Seed Dealer Direction:

For each grower ordering YieldGard Plus with Roundup Ready Corn 2, YieldGard VT Rootworm with Roundup Ready Corn 2, and YieldGard VT Triple, discuss with them their market options and confirm their understanding by having them complete this form.
